Electric Company truck loses two tires in the middle of the street in Santiago de Cuba.

Witnesses assure that the electrical workers in the vehicle were drinking. "They are coming from the carnivals in the light cart."

A truck from the Electric Company of Santiago de Cuba suddenly lost both rear tires on Friday night in the city center.

According to independent journalist Yosmany Mayeta Labrada, it is one of the few cars that the company providing the service has.

The curious event occurred at the intersection of Calle Trocha and San Agustín, a heavily traveled avenue, and was recorded by several women who happened to be passing by at that moment.

"The followers who did not hesitate to send the images lament the scene and criticize the state of intoxication in which the electrical workers were found," the reporter denounced on his Facebook wall.

Upon watching the video, the women can be heard commenting on the noise that was heard when the tires detached and expressing their relief that no other car was coming behind.

"They are taking," said one.

"They come from the carnivals in the light cart," added another.

"So then you call and there's no one available," emphasized a third.

Mayeta Labrada noted that there have been many reports of electrical issues in Santiago de Cuba these days.

"You already know that the drivers and electrical workers are immersed in more victorious tasks at the Santiago carnival and glued to a bottle," he reported.
