A Chevrolet and a Lada collided Thursday afternoon near a pedestrian crossing in the area of Castillo de Averhoff, in the municipality of Arroyo Naranjo, in Havana, without any human injuries.
Images and videos of the accident were shared in the Facebook group "ACCIDENTS BUSES & TRUCKS for more experience and fewer victims!"
The impacts were significant on both vehicles, although it was evident that the Chevrolet suffered the most consequences, as it had a front tire that was practically out of its position.
In the scene, the drivers can be seen next to their cars, with no human injuries reported.
"An accident at a crosswalk, what is being seen in Cuba is unique in the world," confessed a user in the comments of the post.
Another person assured that "they do not respect that crosswalk, knowing that there is a school on that block."
Meanwhile, a user concluded that "that (the accident) happens because they still do not respect traffic laws."
Last Saturday, also in Havana, a Chevrolet was destroyed after catching fire on 15th Street at the corner of L, in El Vedado.
A short circuit was the cause of this incident, which prompted the firefighters to respond quickly.
Near that area, on Tuesday afternoon, a concrete mixer truck crashed into the exterior wall of the Hotel Habana Libre, with no reports of human injuries.
The accident occurred on L Street between 23 and 25, in El Vedado, according to reports on social media.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, a truck overturned a container in the middle of the street in the Valle Grande neighborhood, in the municipality of La Lisa, Havana.
Fortunately, the incident did not result in any injuries.
