After winning over audiences and triumphing on Netflix with his character Darío in the popular series Griselda, Cuban actor Alberto Óscar Guerra Ramos will be back very soon on this streaming platform.

On August 21, Accidente will premiere, a miniseries that will also feature the performance of the Cuban artist.

Alberto Guerra, who has been living in Mexico for over two decades, will take on a new dramatic role alongside other top artists such as Ana Claudia Talancón, Sebastián Martínez, Regina Blandón, and Macarena García.

According to Vogue magazine, "Accidente addresses the tragedy that will transform the lives of four families involved. Through a narrative that explores the consequences of pain, guilt, and resentment, the story will present people whose daily lives become a labyrinth that seems to have no end. Throughout the episodes of the series, we will witness how the characters confront the wounds of the past while trying to move toward the future and reveal their true nature as they seek to find the true responsible party for the tragedy."

The miniseries will be directed by the Venezuelan Leonardo Padrón, who was behind another highly successful series on Netflix, Pálpito, which also featured the Cuban Jacqueline Arenal.

In addition to Griselda, Alberto Guerra has developed his career in Mexico and the United States with roles in well-known productions such as the telenovela “Vale todo,” from Telemundo, the series El Señor de los Cielos, as the character José María ‘Chema’ Venegas, and Narcos: Mexico, as Ismael ‘El Mayo’ Zambada, as well as other well-known works in Latin America like Ingobernable, Historia de un crimen: Colosio, and the films Cansada de besar sapos, Se busca papá, and Cassandro.

Recently, he appeared alongside Madonna on the cover of Re-Edition magazine in the spring-summer issue and was the special guest at one of her concerts in Mexico City.
