The Cuban woman from Ciego de Ávila has been missing for a month.

The woman was seen on Monday in Monte Carlo, Camagüey, according to reports.

The Cuban Mabel García, 54 years old, has been absent from her home in Ciego de Ávila for a month and has apparently been seen wandering in the neighboring province of Camagüey, reported the Gender Observatory Alas Tensas (OGAT) on Facebook.

Relatives of the woman said they had reports that on Monday Mabel was seen in Camagüey, specifically near Monte Carlo.

The organization called on the neighbors of the area to verify this information and shared again the report of the woman's disappearance, whom they also call Marbeli.

It was reported that a complaint was filed with the PNR #5912/2024 on July 1, 2024, after the woman, with black hair with gray and black eyes, who suffers from a "nervous problem," went missing from her home.

It explains that Mabel was not taking the medications –she had been prescribed chlorpromazine– due to the shortage in the country.

At the time of her disappearance on June 30, she was wearing a black sweater, black shorts, and was barefoot.
