The singer, who has been a prominent figure in Cuban urban music, got embroiled in controversy following an altercation with fellow Cuban reggaeton artist Leamsy Izquierdo Molina, known in the music industry as Leamsy "La Figura."

The incident occurred over the past weekend in New York City and has generated a lot of excitement among the followers of both public figures.

In a statement published on his social media, El Chulo informed his followers that he has been accused of assault and that he had decided to surrender to the authorities. "To my fans, I want to apologize, I feel that I let you down as an artist, but as my mom says, always do what is respectful," expressed the reggaeton artist, showing his regret for the situation.

"I want to express my deepest gratitude to all my fans. Your unconditional support and selfless love have been my motivation and my inspiration. Every word of encouragement, every gesture of affection, has left an indelible mark on my heart. TOMORROW I TURN MYSELF IN to the authorities of New York City 'Precinct 14' due to an accusation made against me supposedly for assault, only God knows what might happen," El Chulo added to his Instagram post.

Now the words of El Chulo have become a reality, and the reggaeton artist is in the hands of the authorities in New York City to respond to the incident. The development of this case will be closely monitored by fans and the urban music community.
