Mary García, a Cuban who has lived in the United States for years, shared an emotional video with her followers where she evaluated her achievements as a Cuban emigrant in the United States.
"To each and every one of my emigrants! Those who promised themselves a better future… I am here to let you know that something better is indeed possible. As a Cuban, as an emigrant, as a mother, I tell you that if you have the strength to keep fighting, no matter your age, for what you know you deserve, do it. Let this video be the signal you were waiting for to dare to do something different," said @marypreneur on the network.
About the video, composed of significant images from her journey as an emigrant, she wrote messages that testify to her hard path to success. "One day you are a Cuban emigrant who starts working 7 days a week to support her family without being able to achieve it," is read in one of the images where she is first seen with her son upon arrival and then cleaning for work. After that, she showed how, with determination and effort, she managed to become a part of the "Million Dollar Club."
In a previous video, this Cuban mother of three had shared her story to instill confidence and motivation in those who listened to her.
"I worked for 15 years until I found the business that allowed me to build my more than one million dollars in the first two years of that business," he said.
"I arrived in this country with $200 in my pocket, I emigrated from Cuba to Florida with a one-year-old child, and today I am going to tell you a story that suddenly may resemble yours a lot before getting the answers and solutions to those things that I had been searching for with effort and sacrifice, because nothing is free, nothing is easy, but it is possible," he continued.
In her story, she recounted how she went from cleaning windows and garages to finding a business model that she felt was suitable for her, even though at first she didn’t know how she was going to make it happen: "I wanted to try it, I wanted to attempt it. Because if someone could learn and someone had done it before, why wouldn’t I be able to do it?"
His message is clear: "Remember that a person you admire a lot, a person you consider a winner, was simply someone who lost many times but did not give up, who did not settle for trying, who did not conform, and who was not influenced by what others might say about her in terms of criticism and comments."
"A Cuban who emigrated from Alta Habana to Florida and who now has a million-dollar business," she described herself as she closed the video.
On the network, she has also shared the challenges that an emigrant mother faced before embarking on her entrepreneurial journey.
