Cuban in Kentucky shares advice for emigrants: "It will open many doors for you."

Among the comments, there were both favorable and unfavorable opinions.

A young Cuban, known on TikTok as @kurly_la_peque, shared valuable advice for emigrants based on her personal experience in Louisville, Kentucky.

In his video, titled "Disadvantages of Living in Louisville, Kentucky," he explained that although he loves living in that state, the biggest challenge he has faced as an immigrant is the language barrier. For this reason, he believes that learning English is essential for making his way in the job market in the state.

"When you arrive and you start talking to the person, the manager, in Spanish using the translator, right there you lose credibility, right there they won't call you again," he exemplified.

In the comments, many users shared their experiences and opinions on the matter.

"It's true, mom, it affects us a lot, I live here too, blessings."; "You're doing very well, you're young. Look forward to your future, I've been living here for 15 years and I arrived without knowing English, I studied it and I'm enjoying my effort. Now I'm a bilingual Nurse. Yes, it can be done."; "Here where I live is the same, in Fort Lauderdale, English is spoken a lot."; "It's true, I went today and had to speak through the translator and they immediately told me there wasn't one, how sad."; "I love Louisville, I spent my first months in the United States there and I loved it, now I live in Las Vegas and I miss Louisville," some said.

"Well, in my job they don't require English and I live in Louisville, Kentucky"; "The weather is another thing that affects Louisville, besides very few places to enjoy with children"; "Well, what I feel is lacking in Louisville is street lighting, with so many taxes they take from us, that's the only thing I don't like about here"; "I remember perfectly that one would call any utility company and they wouldn't give you the option for Spanish, however, now they do give you the option for Spanish"; "Is only English a disadvantage?" others opined.
