Cuban responds to criticism for denouncing from abroad: "If they want, I won't do it."

Adri Cárdenas denounces criticism from Cubans on the island for her activism on social media against the governments of Cuba and Venezuela.

The Cuban TikToker Adri Cárdenas (@soyadricardenas), residing abroad, has generated controversy with his recent video in which he complains about the continuous criticism he receives from Cubans on the island.

Cárdenas, known for his activism on social media, expressed his frustration over the misunderstanding from those who criticize him for denouncing the Cuban government from abroad.

"It is absurd that those of us outside are supporting those inside, and what we often receive from them is hatred," Cárdenas said in his video.

He argued that he has every right to share his opinions about the crisis in Venezuela and Cuba. Moreover, he emphasized the importance of using his platform to raise awareness about the lack of freedom of expression in both countries.

"Cuba and Venezuela are two countries that have practically the same terrible politics and do not deserve what they are experiencing right now," he stated.

Adri Cárdenas lamented that many Cubans on the island criticize those, like him, who are abroad and use their social networks to fight for a political change that leads to the restoration of democracy in the country.

"It is sad that people who are inside the island criticize those of us who are outside. No, those of us who are outside are helping," he concluded, highlighting his commitment to the struggle for freedom and human rights in Cuba and Venezuela.
