Diesel engine explosion causes fire inside a house in Santiago de Cuba.

The explosion of a motorina, a mobility device that has become very popular among Cubans due to the public transport crisis, caused a fire inside a house in Santiago de Cuba, with no loss of life.

The fire occurred on Calle 6 between Enramada and Aguilera, Reparto Santa Bárbara, as reported on Facebook by independent journalist Yosmany Mayeta Labrada.

According to the communicator, "after some failed attempts by neighbors who tried to put out the fire 20 minutes after the explosion, the firefighters arrived, who were able to control the flames coming from the front of the house."

In shared images, you can see the smoke coming from the home, as well as the damage caused to the facade of the place.

A few days ago, several electric motorcycles were completely burned in a fire that occurred in front of an apartment building in Camagüey, fortunately without any injuries.
