Yoandri Marín, brother of Karildi Marín, a 24-year-old Cuban woman who has been missing since the night of December 14 in Havana, stated that he remains hopeful to find out what happened to his sister.

Through Facebook, where she has been updating about the case, she said that she constantly asks "God to keep you safe."

"It has been a long time, my sister, since we last heard from you. A family is suffering from your disappearance; a little girl, my beautiful niece, without her mother, and a trail of sadness that will never be forgotten," expressed Yoandri.

"I ask God to always keep you protected and that justice is served by the authorities because to this day we have no news of you. We love you and we will always love you."

The family of Karildi – who disappeared in December 2024 after leaving for a party in the Havana municipality of Cerro without a cell phone – is still seeking answers to an event that seems unreal; as apparently the party was canceled and no one has been able to find out what happened to the woman.

"They say that hope is the last thing to be lost, and I do not lose hope of at least knowing what happened to you," concluded Yoandri, who has urged anyone with information related to the case to contact the family or the authorities.

Case details: Name: Karildi Caridad Marín. Age: 24 years. Residence: Párraga, Arroyo Naranjo, Havana. Date of disappearance: December 14, 2023. Last known location: Party in the Cerro municipality, Havana.

Karildi is described as a young mestizo woman standing 1.57 meters tall. In the photo provided by her family, her hair color and distinctive features can be seen. She does not suffer from any known illnesses, which makes her disappearance even more alarming.

The Gender Observatory of Alas Tensas has also joined the search and is providing support to Karildi's family, who is the mother of a small girl now being cared for by her grandmother.
