A Geely car and another modern vehicle had an accident on Monday afternoon in front of the Bus Terminal in Plaza de la Revolución, Havana, when one of the two vehicles did not obey the traffic light.

"The front vehicle (Geely) went through the red light and the other one coming up on 19 de Mayo hit it on the side," wrote internet user Alexis Verano in the Facebook group "ACCIDENTES BUSES & CAMIONES por más experiencia y menos víctimas!"

Along with his comments, the user shared photos and a small clip of how the two vehicles ended up in the middle of Avenida Boyeros.

The impact left dents on one side of the Geely car, especially on the passenger door, while the other vehicle sustained most of its damage on the front, notably on the bumper and headlights.

Apparently, the drivers of both vehicles were not injured.

This accident adds to several that have occurred in the Cuban capital in the last week, in which minor damage to the drivers has been reported.

A few days ago, the driver of a Cuban state truck was injured after the vehicle fell from the Santa María del Rosario bridge, located in the Havana municipality of Cotorro.

The driver of the vehicle was taken to the clinic for medical attention.

Also, a Kawasaki motorcycle and a modern car collided on Zanja Street in Centro Habana.

The incident occurred at noon last Thursday and apparently did not leave anyone seriously injured, only material damage to both modes of transportation.

While a Lada car was left practically inoperable after colliding with the rear of a truck in the vicinity of La Lira, a locality in the Havana municipality of Arroyo Naranjo.
