The girl has been missing since Saturday, August 17, when she left the municipality of Songo La Maya, where she lives, to work in the city of Santiago de Cuba.

An 18-year-old Cuban girl named Yilena Cepa, from the municipality of Songo La Maya in Santiago de Cuba, has been away from her home for a week this Friday, with her family knowing nothing about her.

The independent feminist platform Alas Tensas echoed the case on its social media.

Alas Tensas reported on Facebook that Yilena has been missing since Saturday, August 17, when she left her home territory to work in the city of Santiago de Cuba.

Last Tuesday, the lifeguard Aris Arias Batalla reported that his family is very concerned about the whereabouts of the girl and has made an urgent call to the community to assist in her search.
