Cuban in the USA sends a strong message to those who take other people's packages.

"I recycle my bottle and those things, but that doesn't hurt anyone; now, stealing what isn't yours, I think that's really wrong."

A Cuban living in the United States shared a message on TikTok warning about the importance of not taking stray packages found on the street or at the doors of other homes waiting to be picked up by their rightful owners.

"These things, sir, should not be touched," he expressed in his video, lamenting that some people acted in such an incorrect and shameful manner.

The woman (@emmy8356 on the network) explained that although some newcomers to the United States might not be familiar with local rules, this did not justify taking what did not belong to them.

"That doesn't belong to you, that's not yours," he emphasized, referring to the packages that people could find at the door of some homes. He also lamented that this behavior could give a bad image: "We Cubans make ourselves look bad doing that, stealing things, the packages that are placed there when those packages are not yours."

"We are not in our countries," he said in the video, reminding that as immigrants, they must respect the rules of the place where they live.

The TikToker also made a distinction between recycling certain objects and stealing, suggesting that while recycling was harmless - a clear reference to a previous video by her Venezuelan husband about his 'Cuban tricks' - taking what does not belong to you was unacceptable: "I recycle my bottle and those things, but that doesn’t harm anyone; now, stealing what isn’t yours, I believe that’s wrong," she concluded.

The video, shared a few hours ago, is generating reactions among TikTok users: "Those are not the newcomers, those are the ones more accustomed"; "Where I live, that doesn't happen, no one touches what belongs to others"; "That's too much already, friend, how embarrassing"; "We come with bad habits," some commented.

And you? Have you experienced or seen behaviors like those that this Cuban denounces?

What do you think?
