Detain suspected perpetrators of multiple murder in Ceballos.

The detainees are two young people who work in the area and broke into the house to steal.

Following the multiple murder that occurred on Saturday in the town of Ceballos, in the province of Ciego de Ávila, two people were arrested for their alleged involvement in the crime, reported the news site CubaNet.

It involves brothers Luis Enrique Romero Daudinot and Leudys, as well as Esney Fonseca, who were arrested for their alleged involvement in this crime in which two women, a teenager, and a minor lost their lives.

According to CubaNet, the detained are two young individuals who work in the area and entered to steal.

Both lived in the locality, but they were not from the neighborhood, sources confirmed to the mentioned media.

The initial information about this incident highlighted that the killers "waited for the man of the house to leave for work and it is unknown whether it was one person or several, but they left a family massacre."

The official newspaper Invasor shared a brief editorial on Saturday in which it revealed the names and ages of the victims.

"Among the deceased is Richard Dariel Núñez, a four-year-old boy. The other crime victims are named Lester Rivadeneira Rodríguez, a 17-year-old; Yamila Reyes Tamayo, 29; and Raysa Rodríguez Pérez de Corcho, 50," he stated.

The note added that the competent authorities are investigating the causes of the crime and that as soon as there are sufficient evidentiary elements, the public will be informed.
