In the midst of the energy crisis affecting Cuba, the regime has not hesitated to send linemen to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to assist in the recovery efforts from the damage caused by Hurricane Beryl.

The Cuban brigade arrived on Wednesday at the island, located in the Lesser Antilles, to the east of the Caribbean Sea.

According to the Cuban News Agency, the electrical workers will mainly work on the small Grenadine islands of Union and Canouan, which were severely affected by Beryl, a destructive Category 5 hurricane that hit the area on July 1.

Benarva Browne, an official from the Caribbean country, gave an official welcome to the Cuban brigade and explained the conditions that several of the islands are suffering after the hurricane, and thanked the government and people of Cuba for their help.
