The value of the three reference currencies in Cuba continues to neither rise nor fall. They remain unchanged, marking another day without price changes in the average sale on the informal market on September 5th.
The dollar remains valued at 320 CUP, the euro at 330, and the Freely Convertible Currency (MLC) at 275.
The average selling prices confirm an unprecedented stability that has characterized the last few weeks.
In the specific case of the euro, it is currently valued at 330 pesos for one month. The European currency reached 330 CUP on August 5 and has not changed its average selling price since then.

In the case of the dollar, the US currency reached 320 CUP on August 3, and since then, monitoring of classified ads averaging its value in the black market has shown no movement, according to elToque.
The last to register changes was the Freely Convertible Currency (MLC). However, since August 9, the virtual currency operated by the Cuban government has been valued at 275 CUP.
The price stability in recent weeks contrasts with the strong changes in the first seven months of 2024, during which currencies experienced fluctuating periods of both increases and decreases.
For the moment, elToque has yet to comment on the current situation of the currency exchange landscape in Cuba.
The median values of buying and selling published this Thursday by the independent media do not indicate that the three currencies will experience changes soon.
The average sale on September 5 is 330 pesos (euros), 320 (dollars), and 275 (MLC).
In the case of currency purchases, today the average purchase price rises to 320 CUP. The increase is 2.5 pesos.
