The Cuban Rachel Zamora Ríos reported the theft of her motorcycle this Wednesday when she was dropping her daughter off at school. People shared her report on social media, and it had a good outcome.

On his Facebook profile, Zamora states that he is a resident of San José de las Lajas, the capital of the Mayabeque province. The robbery occurred in front of the Ignacio Agramonte School. According to witnesses, the perpetrator of the crime was an older, thin man.

The stolen motorcycle has the license plate U01586. Rachel asked anyone who might have information about this theft to contact her, anonymously, or to reach out to the police, in order to recover the motorcycle. Her request was heard.

The Cuban shared images of the vehicle, showcasing her metallic green motorcycle, which is very well maintained and eye-catching. Shortly after her message on social media, the vehicle was found.

The user Yonaysis Zamora informed the followers of this case that "The motorcycle has been found. They have it at the police station in Jaruco," and thanked everyone for sharing the information.

Last week, in Havana, a man was arrested after assaulting a motorcyclist in broad daylight in El Vedado.

The criminal stripped the young woman of her belongings on N street, but was captured by workers and neighbors in the area, who were able to detain the aggressor until the police arrived.

This type of crime generates increasing concern among Cubans, who complain about the lack of police action and the weakness of the laws to tackle crime in the country, while harsh penalties are applied to people for their political ideals.
