A Cuban mother is experiencing moments of anguish after the disappearance of her son, who escaped from a special school in Havana.
Through social media, Yubaisi shared a heartbreaking message asking for help in locating her 10-year-old son, Reider, who has been missing since Wednesday afternoon.
"Please, my son has been missing since September 4 at 5:00 pm. He escaped from the Special School located in El Trébol, in the municipality of Havana del Este, and he has not been found yet; he is with another child," Yubaisi stated on Facebook.
"I am desperate, please, whoever sees this, write to me urgently. I only ask God that he is safe and sound," she said.
In the summer, Yubaisi was searching on social media for two very strong medications that her child apparently takes daily. These are Carbamazepine, an antiepileptic drug, and Risperidone, which is used in the treatment of behavioral disorders.
The minor has been away from home for many hours without taking his medicines. He is accompanied by another child, and so far, they have not been located.
The mother, visibly affected, has asked the community to stay alert and that any information that may lead to Reider's whereabouts be communicated to her or the police immediately.
So far, the authorities have not issued an official statement about the case, but the neighbors in the area have joined in the search for the minor.
