A Cuban woman and mother of three children who had been missing since Wednesday morning was found safe and sound, according to her aunt's announcement on social media.

Saray Rodríguez, 27 years old and a resident of San José de las Lajas, Mayabeque, had left that day for Havana and has been missing since then.

"My niece has appeared safe, thank God. And to everyone who supported in one way or another, God bless you all. A thousand thanks, family, friends, and everyone who cared, blessings," said Mariela Rodríguez López on her Facebook, without giving details.

Several publications on the Internet reported the desperation of Saray's family, whose phone had no signal.

Her mother, Martha Betancourt, shared a video in which her distress was evident.

Her husband, Frank Elías, reported that he had filed a complaint with the police, but they told him that they only take action after 72 hours have passed.
