A Cuban woman has urgently asked for help in several Facebook groups in the last few hours to try to locate her husband, who works as a boatman and whose trail was lost on Sunday afternoon.

The man who is currently missing has been identified as Hubert Rodolfo Fonseca Rivero.

According to the testimony of his wife, Leidys Rodríguez, he raced with a friend to Tarará, in the municipality of Habana del Este.

Rodríguez added that after leaving his friend in Tarará, he was reported missing at around 4:30 PM on the same September 8, and since that moment, he has been missing.

This Monday, a report was made at Police Unit 4 (no. 63847). Anyone who has seen Hubert Rodolfo Fonseca can contact the number 56652894.

"I am his wife and I am desperate. I ask everyone for help, thank you," concluded the woman.

Several internet users have requested that, in order for the report to gain clarity and effectiveness, details of the vehicle be provided, which appears to be a blue 1952 Chevrolet, although the shared photo does not allow for much detail to be seen.

Leidys Rodríguez said in the comments that she did not have any other photos of the vehicle.

As of the closing of this report, there are no other details about the case.

In recent years - coinciding with the increase in violence in Cuba - reports of missing persons in Cuba have become frequent, causing concern among families who desperately turn to social media and independent media in search of help to locate their loved ones, due to the lack of an official channel to highlight these cases.
