After days of stress and almost no sleep, a Cuban was fortunate to recover two motorcycles that had been stolen from him in the Reparto 26 de Julio, province of Holguín.

In an event organized by the Ministry of the Interior (MININT), the citizen regained possession of the vehicles. "It was days without sleep, but it was worth it," commented the victim.

In a post published on the social network Facebook, the profile "Realidades desde Holguín," close to the MININT, stated that the event had occurred a week earlier.

He also indicated that Lieutenant Colonel Yoel Sánchez Pérez highlighted the fundamental role played by the neighbors, who provided constant support during the investigative process.

In addition, he praised the trust placed by the victim and the community in the authorities, emphasizing that this is not an isolated case, as other stolen goods have been recovered and will be returned to their owners in the coming days.

However, the situation is very different in most cases. For example, residents of Manicaragua, in Villa Clara, indignantly reported the negligence and complete inaction of the police in that municipality in response to the theft of more than a thousand cassava crabs from an 80-year-old farmer, who despite his age continues to work the land.

The veteran farmer Pedro Ramos Toscano was a victim at the end of August of the theft of that amount of tuber crabs, and he reported it to the PNR, which has done nothing to capture the thieves.

A 30-year-old Cuban man was murdered last Friday in Havana during a violent robbery that has left a family in mourning and friends and acquaintances in shock.

Enmanuel Rosales, originally from the province of Ciego de Ávila and residing in the Cuban capital, was stabbed near the Bus Terminal located in Plaza de la Revolución while heading home to the town of Cojímar.

An alleged thief was captured by neighbors in the Indaya neighborhood, in the municipality of Marianao, Havana, and detained until the police arrived.

A video shared on YouTube by the independent media outlet Cubanet showed the moment when the individual was cornered, after allegedly having stolen from one of the houses in the settlement.
