"Many things I said were discredited, totally discredited. But she could say whatever she wanted. My things were correct, but they corrected you."

Former U.S. President Donald Trump claims that he won the debate against Democratic candidate Kamala Harris held on Tuesday night in Philadelphia.

Trump made statements via telephone to the morning program Fox and Friends on Fox News, in which he lashed out against the ABC News network, which aired the debate, which, in his opinion, was "completely rigged."

The Republican leader noted that the journalists who acted as moderators were constantly refuting his arguments.

"They didn't stop correcting me," he stated, before accusing Kamala of telling "blatant lies" without anyone correcting her.

"Many things I said were discredited, completely discredited. But she could say whatever she wanted. My things were correct, but they corrected you," she emphasized.

Trump has called for ABC News to lose its broadcasting license due to the way it moderated the televised debate.

"They should revoke their license for the way they did it. I think they lost a lot of credibility," and he added that "they are the most dishonest, the most dishonest medium, and that says a lot because everyone is essentially very dishonest."

This was the first debate between both candidates with less than two months to go before the elections on November 5, and according to experts, it could be the only one.

In one of his statements, Trump caused confusion by claiming that immigrants eat the dogs and cats of the residents in border cities.

"Many cities do not want to talk about it because they are ashamed. In Springfield [Ohio], people who came are eating the dogs, they are eating the cats, they are eating the pets of the people who live there, and this is what is happening in our country and it is a shame," he pointed out.
