A Cuban who currently lives in the United States shared on TikTok how she spent her last day on the island before returning to the country where she resides.

The video was shared on her profile @lettyycaballero, where the young woman mentions that her mother prepared a special farewell meal for her, surrounded by part of her family, who came from the countryside to be with her on this day.

"Since it was my last day in Cuba, my mother made me a farewell meal with part of my family from the countryside. Roasted pork, I'd better not tell you how much this cost. I can't explain how delicious and juicy it turned out. For the congri, we made the beans first. I enjoyed the meal so much. Let's see if I can keep that special flavor that mom's cooking has," comments the young woman, highlighting the nostalgia she was already beginning to feel for homemade flavors.
