Cuban shares her experience obtaining a driver's license in Spain: "It costs a fortune."

"Here in Spain, cars have manual transmissions, so it takes a lot more effort to get a driver's license, and it also costs a fortune."

A young Cuban, @devorahmallol72 on TikTok, shared her joy on the platform for having obtained her driver's license in Spain.

In her video, Devorah Mallol explained the arduous process she had to go through to achieve it, highlighting that it was both a challenging and expensive experience.

"I finally have in my hands the driver's license that has cost me so much sacrifice," said Mallol, who asserted that in Spain, most cars are manual transmission, which makes learning to drive more complicated. He also mentioned how expensive it is to obtain a driver's license, as, in his words, "for what one earns and for what it costs, it's quite expensive."

According to what he revealed, the total of his investment amounted to 1,630 euros, and he broke down the expenses: "I enrolled in the driving school with a package of 890 euros that included exam fees, the right to take the exam, and 23 practical classes, which here are super expensive." However, after those classes, he needed 40 more, on which he spent an additional 740 euros in total.

Despite the economic challenge, the creator shared excitedly that she passed both the theoretical and practical exams on her first try: "For me to be a woman and have never driven before, I didn't need many classes." She also expressed her gratitude for her family's support, especially her father's, who accompanied her throughout the process from the United States.

Users on the network quickly congratulated her and shared their experiences and opinions. "People think it's just like in Miami, but here in Spain it's really difficult," one noted. Another user shared their experience saying, "Ufff, I spent 2,600 euros, but I'm almost about to get the L taken away," referring to the provisional plate that novice drivers display in Spain.

Mallol responded to many of the comments, acknowledging how expensive and demanding the process is in Spain. "Here it’s super difficult and very costly for what one earns. In Miami, they practically give you the license; here it takes a lot of sacrifice and days of high stress," the TikToker assured, making it clear how relieved she feels after overcoming this challenge.

Among the congratulations, many followers expressed admiration for having passed both exams on the first try.
