Aymée Nuviola "proud and grateful" for her fifth nomination for the Latin Grammy.

Aymée is nominated in the Best Latin Jazz Album category for Busco tu recuerdo, by American percussionist Sammy Figueroa along with Gonzalo Rubalcaba.

The renowned Cuban singer Aymée Nuviola expressed that she feels "proud and grateful" for her fifth nomination for the Latin Grammy.

"Happy, proud, and thankful to God above all, for this nomination to the Latin Grammy with the album Busco tu recuerdo by master Sammy Figueroa, in the category Best Latin Jazz Album," she expressed on her Instagram account.

"My congratulations to the teachers Sammy Figueroa and Gonzalo Rubalcaba," he added.

Searching For A Memory (Busco tu recuerdo) is nominated in the category of Best Latin Jazz Album. It is a record by American percussionist Sammy Figueroa featuring Aymée and Cuban pianist and composer Gonzalo Rubalcaba. The latter is also nominated with Collab, alongside Hamilton De Holanda.

The prestigious artist has been nominated four times for the Latin Grammy: in 2014, 2018, 2019, and 2022; she won on two occasions. In 2018, she took home the statue for Como anillo al dedo, in the category Best Tropical Fusion Album.

In 2022, he won the award again with the album Live in Marciac, alongside Gonzalo Rubalcaba, which triumphed in the category of Best Traditional Tropical Album.

At the American Grammys, he has four other nominations, one of which resulted in a win.

In the 25th edition of the Latin Grammy, several Cuban artists are competing.

Among them is Daymé Arocena, who received a nomination in the Song of the Year category for the song "A fuego lento," composed and performed by the Cuban along with the Dominican composer, musician, and singer Vicente García.

This is the artist's first nomination for the Latin Grammy at 32 years old, but not for the American Grammys.

In 2018, at the 60th edition of the event, she was nominated in the category of Best Latin Jazz Album for Oddara, an album by Canadian saxophonist Jacve Bunnet, in which Daymé participated with the Cuban female group Maqueque.
