Cuban in Canada reflects on the differences with her life in Cuba: "There, you have to wait in line for everything."

Cuban in Canada shares on TikTok the most notable differences with her life in Cuba, from queues to transportation.

A Cuban who lives in Canada has shared in a TikTok video the things she hasn't experienced since she arrived in Cuba. The young woman shared these differences in a video posted on her profile @yetsyyu.

At the top of her list is the island's most popular cleaning method, where it is customary to throw water on the floor to clean it. "I can't do that here, look at the floor," she comments, showing the floor of her house.

The second experience is about the endless queues in Cuba. "In Cuba, you queue for everything, even to buy bread. I’m not talking about queues that last hours, but days," he assures. This phenomenon is well-known among Cubans, who must wait long hours to access basic goods.

Finally, the Cuban recalls how she used to run after the bus in Cuba. "There it was a serious problem. Here, the buses are punctual," she explains, appreciating the efficiency of transportation in Canada compared to that in Cuba.

To these things that this Cuban stopped experiencing upon arriving in Canada, other Cubans added more in the comments. "Coffee and the gossip, none of that here," "In Cuba, the neighbor passes by and you give her a little cup of coffee very early, here you don't know the neighbor," or "Many pros, many cons too. I miss my beautiful Cuba, but well, we have to move forward," they reacted in the comments of the post.
