Carlos Otero clarifies what happened with El Micha.

Although at first, due to the fragment shared by the singer on his social media, it was reported that the confrontation was with Otero, in reality, the main face-off was with the presenter Rosy Iglesias.

After El Micha's outburst on "El Toro Loco Show," when he got angry and ended up leaving the program after being confronted about his trips to Cuba, the Cuban host Carlos Otero, one of those present, clarified what happened with the reggaeton artist.

Although initially, due to the fragment shared by the singer on his social media, it was reported that the clash had been with Otero, in reality, the main confrontation was with the presenter Rosy Iglesias.

However, Otero turned to his YouTube channel "La Hora de Carlos" to recount what happened. The host said that before recording the program, he asked what would be discussed with El Micha and was told it was about his new album, and he added: "El Micha is currently trending because of all the statements he has made lately (...) he has been talking about his position regarding Cuba."

Otero made it clear that he has no problem with El Micha, as they even greeted each other warmly, both off-camera and on-camera, and he even joked with the reggaeton artist.

"Let me clarify something that I believe I need to clarify, first of all, 'El Toro Loco Show' is not my show, I am there as a guest, I have to respect the guidelines of the production of that show (...) I didn’t want to be at the table, I’ll be honest, I’m not interested in being at the table if they are going to ask El Micha questions about Cuba because that has already been heavily used by other presenters, other platforms, and other interviews he has already given," Otero acknowledged.

However, the host wanted to ask the reggaeton artist a question that has not been asked before about what is happening, and wanted to know if he had to make any concessions to the Cuban dictatorship to be able to enter the island, to which the singer responded negatively.

"There are many people who see the headlines on the platforms and without really looking at the content, without truly knowing what happened, they start to overflow with hatred, some with phrases of encouragement, agreeing with what El Micha did, others disagree." added the presenter.

"The clips that were uploaded seemed like there was a hell of a fight between El Micha and me, which really wasn't the case, but well, those were the headlines and everyone got hooked on that story. I hope that everyone has seen the show so they can see how the whole process went and how El Micha's attitude was as well as our attitude as the hosts of the show. I have been invited to some shows and I have never asked what they are going to ask me, never. When I go, I am ready to go to a show because I am going to respond to the things they are going to ask, I don't set limits on the conversations nor do I put any impediments," Carlos Otero emphasized.

In his statements, Otero said he was very surprised by El Micha's attitude, especially because he had not reacted that way in similar interviews before.

After El Micha's reaction, opinions on social media have been divided; while some show their support for the reggaeton artist, others clearly express their disagreement with his statements and the way he left the program.
