A Cuban woman in Canada warns about the importance of checking purchase receipts after experiencing an improper charge.

A Cuban woman in Canada shares her experience after doing some shopping in a store. A warning she issued to her TikTok followers, where she identifies herself as @azulina076.

In her video, this Cuban remembers the importance of checking receipts before leaving stores to avoid improper charges, as happened to her.

"I come to teach you and tell you to check your receipts before leaving the stores. You don't want to be charged money for nothing," she starts off saying in her video. The young Cuban explains that she went to a store to buy three pairs of socks, which originally cost 7.99 but were on sale for just one dollar. When she got to the register, she asked if the discount was valid, and the saleswoman confirmed that it was. However, when she reviewed the receipt later, she realized that she had been charged the full price of 7.99 for the socks.

"But that's not all," he adds, recounting that he had also asked about two sweaters that were marked down to five dollars. Despite the sales associate assuring him that the price was correct, when he left the store and reviewed the receipt, he saw that he had been charged the original price of the items. "Folks, when I come back to my car and check my receipt, I see that I was charged everything at the price it was. Take care of your money, check your receipts, and go back," he concludes.

However, it is not the only one to have experienced this recently, and several people reacted to her words by sharing their own experiences. "It happened to me at Walmart, they charged me 50 dollars extra!", "That happens a lot, you have to stay alert", "I think this happens quite often and in different places" or "Great truth, it's incredible," commented some people.
