Cuban in the USA vents about family demands on the island: "Nothing ever seems enough for them."

Cuban in the U.S. blows up on TikTok due to pressure from her family to send money.

A Cuban in the United States has wanted to give her opinion on what she thinks about the demands that families from Cuba constantly make. A clip that has gone viral and is generating discussion on TikTok, where many Cubans have addressed this topic in their videos.

In her video, the Cuban @rieteconary criticizes the attitude of those who are never satisfied with what is sent to them from abroad. "Combos, recharges, packages, money for Cuba. They say they need this and that, and nothing is ever enough. A hundred times yes, and it only takes once you say no for them to get angry and upset. They forget the hundred times you said yes," she comments, visibly upset with the demands.

"Nothing ever seems enough to them; whatever you do is little. They don't realize that here one gets up early to work, and we have things to pay for. Here it's money for rent, for the car, insurance, food, expenses that one has," he adds.

In addition, she criticizes that many times she is judged for enjoying some moments of leisure. "If they see me having a drink, they already say 'look, she didn’t send me the money and there she is having fun.' With my money, the one who gets up to work is me, the one who wakes up early is me, and the one who looks for it is me," she points out, highlighting the discomfort of many Cubans who, like her, feel the pressure to meet the expectations of those in Cuba.

This type of videos on social media reflects the unrest of many Cubans who, in addition to facing the difficulties of being immigrants, must pay attention to the needs of their family members in Cuba.

Many agree with the opinion of @rieteconary, and in the comments of the post, we find messages like: "And you call them and they only talk about problems, and when you tell them yours, they don't even listen," "Everything for Cuba, them drinking beer while one has been up since 4 and filled with aches from working," "It's true, sweetheart, I lived it with my husband's family. I was always sending to Cuba and even built them houses," "Literally, my husband sent money to his brothers. One day, one of them asked for 100, and he couldn't, so he said 'I can't,' and to this day, they don't talk to him over the $100 and he spent years sending," "Just like that, and they never understand anything, they always say the typical phrase, that's nothing for you, what are 100 pesos to you. How bad we are," or "The reality of everyone, friend. The worst part is that your life doesn’t matter to them because they don’t even ask how you are."
