Cuban sneaks into motel in Hialeah and attacks a woman saying he was "Satan".

The woman found the man naked inside her home, a motel room in Hialeah.

An unusual incident took place in Hialeah when a 26-year-old Cuban man, identified as Roberlandys Fernández Peña, was arrested after breaking into a motel room where a woman resides, threatening her, claiming to be Satan, and telling her that it would be her "last day on earth."

According to the victim's testimony, she had stepped outside her home for a moment to solve an issue with the lock on her room.

To her surprise, upon returning she found the naked man in her room, who violently attacked her.

The intruder, covered in tattoos, claimed to be her husband and even put on a pair of the woman's underwear, who was working at that moment.

The victim tried to escape, but the man grabbed her by the hair, pushed her onto the bed, and began to strangle her while repeating that he was Satan and that she had to die.

"He told me that he was Satan, that it was my last day, that I had to die," the victim recounted in statements to the local press.

Fortunately, his screams alerted a neighbor, who called the police, and they quickly arrived on the scene and arrested Roberlandys Fernández.

The victim, still visibly affected, has expressed fear about what happened and claims that she did not know the aggressor before the attack.

"I am very strong, but this has been very hard for me. Every time I close my eyes, I see that man's face and remember what he did to me," she confessed.

Despite the shock, the woman also revealed that the mother of the accused asked her not to press charges, begging her in tears.

However, the victim clarified that, although she understood the mother’s pain, she was also a victim in this situation and could have lost her life.

The man faces serious charges, including robbery with assault and physical aggression, offenses for which he could face a life sentence if found guilty.

During her first appearance in the Miami-Dade County criminal court, Judge Mindy S. Glazer read aloud the details of the case, highlighting the seriousness of the events and the danger faced by the victim.

Peña, for his part, accepted the conditions imposed by the judge, including a restraining order that prohibits him from approaching or communicating with the victim under any circumstances.

The accused, after his first court appearance, was transferred back to the county jail. He was expected to return to court this Friday for a hearing to determine the conditions of his bail.
