After nine months, the young Cuban Karildi Marín continues to be missing in Havana, and her brother Yoandri Marín keeps sharing messages on social media, holding on to the hope that sooner or later they will learn of their loved one's whereabouts.

A few days ago, the desperate brother remembered Karildi's birthday and wished that "wherever you are, may peace be with you, we love you very much. Our greatest gift would be to see you again and hug you."

In that same post, the young man referred to a new anniversary of his grandfather's passing. "How I miss them and I thank life for such wonderful people it allowed me to know... I love them," he wrote.

Karildi is 24 years old and lives in Párraga, in the Arroyo Naranjo municipality, Havana. She disappeared on the night of December 14, 2023, when she went out to a party in El Cerro, and since then no one has heard from her.

On several occasions, his brother has expressed the frustration he feels about the time that passes without news of his relative.

"Resolve my sister's case, as time is running out and it has already been over a day since her disappearance; it has been almost six months. We need answers," she asked the police when half a year had passed without her sister at home.

On Mother's Day, her father dedicated an emotional message to Karildi on Facebook, where he shared several photos of her in her role as a mom, including one from when she was pregnant shortly before giving birth, and others with her little girl, who is now just over a year old.

Regarding police passivity and the lack of results in the investigation, he said, "I am sure that if it were the daughter of some of them, she would have already been found. This is Cuba; he who has no godfather does not get baptized," he emphasized.
