A couple of Cuban truck drivers in the United States broke down on the road and were surprised by the generous help of a good Samaritan.
The protagonist of this story is a Cuban woman, known on social media for her TikTok profile La.Guajira.Chapucera (@la.guajira.chapucera).
In a recent video, she narrated that she was with her broken truck on the road when another truck driver passed by and, seeing that she and her partner were having a tough time, stopped and gave them water so they could wait for the arrival of the roadside assistance vehicles.
However, that was not the end of it. The man, whose identity is unknown, went back to where the Cuban truck drivers were and brought them food and drinks.
La Guajira thanked the gesture and said that it is rare to encounter people of such good human quality on the road.
"When you are in situations like this, you know the quality of people, because a person who has never seen you, who doesn't know you, and helps you, is a good person. I feel tremendous sorrow, but I had to record it so that we will never forget this gesture," he expressed.
Then, with his characteristic optimism, he told his followers: "Well, we have food and we have water. We're all set! We can wait here for two more days."
Before saying goodbye in his viral video that has accumulated more than 21 thousand interactions, he asked people that when they see a truck stopped in the middle of the road, to be supportive of the drivers.
