A massive accident that occurred on the morning of this Thursday left around twenty vehicles damaged on the I-95 interstate highway in Miami-Dade.

A video shared on the lifestyle_miami site showcased the magnitude of the event by showing the long line of cars that collided with each other in a chain reaction.

At the time of writing this note, the causes that led to the massive accident are unknown, nor whether any individuals involved in the incident were injured as a result.

The images showed significant material damage to several of the vehicles, some of which were overturned and seriously damaged in their bodies.

At the beginning of September, the southbound lanes of I-95 were closed for more than 12 hours due to a serious accident.

Thousands of people were trapped after an incident involving a fuel tanker, which caused a complete closure of the southbound lanes and created a massive traffic jam around noon.

In images shared on Instagram by the account Only in Dade, several vehicles with considerable damage were observed, including a Lexus sedan, a red pickup truck, and an overturned tanker truck.

In February, the young woman identified as Yanaisa Milagro Pulido, a 23-year-old Cuban-American residing in Miami, died while helping injured people in a multi-vehicle accident that occurred on I-95.

Yanaisa, born in the United States to Cuban parents, was an emergency medical technician (EMT).

That day, around 4:00 am, he was returning home with a colleague after a day at work when he saw two cars that had collided. He stopped and got out of his car to help the victims, but two other vehicles crashed into one of the initially damaged cars, which ended up hitting the girl.

The incident occurred in the southbound lanes of I-95, north of State Road 84, in Fort Lauderdale.

"Yanaisa was a hero and wanted to help people in any way she could. Her dream was to be a first responder and save lives," said Dayami Apaulaza, who opened a GoFundMe petition to raise funds for her funeral.
