VIRAL: Spectacular accident on Miami highway captured on camera

The accident occurred around nine in the morning this Saturday.

A shocking accident that occurred on the morning of this Saturday on the I-95 was captured on camera, leaving many questions about the cause of the incident as well as the health of the occupant or occupants of one of the cars.

The video has gone viral on the Instagram account Only in Dade, where it has generated over 2,200 comments so far.

"Terrifying accident this morning on I-95 South, we hope everyone is okay," can be read alongside the video, which is only 23 seconds long but incredibly revealing of how much someone's life can change in an instant.

The images show how suddenly a truck that was traveling in an outer lane tries to cut across three lanes at full speed and presumably merge into the express lane.

The failed attempt ended with the van crashing into a gray sedan that flipped over, while the van ended up a few meters away, stopped by a concrete wall.

In the comments section, various internet users expressed that in light of such nonsense, it is possible that the van driver experienced some kind of medical emergency because if that wasn’t the case, the nearly unanimous outcry is to take away his license, considering the consequences of his reckless maneuver.

However, in the final part of the images, it can be seen that the driver of the truck opens the door of the vehicle, so he was not completely unconscious.

"Trying to pass through three lanes (one that is clearly barricaded), without signaling, without clear traffic... unless that truck was having a seizure... Box him in. There are certain points of reckless driving where these people don't even need to be on the road anymore. It's becoming ridiculous," commented an internet user, a sentiment that was recurring.

"The driver of the van must have fallen asleep or had a medical emergency, because by the way he crossed those three lanes, he was not alert," commented another observer.

However, a woman who claimed that her husband was a direct witness to the incident clarified that the driver "was very alert and had no emergency."

"She even blamed other people. My husband was in the black Escalade that cut him off and turned left," she added, although she said nothing about the worst affected in the incident: the gray Sedan that rolled over.

"It’s crazy how your day/life can change in a fraction of a second, or so it seems. No reaction at all or had a medical emergency (sugar, seizure, stroke maybe)."

Some pointed out that what was seen "sounds like a normal day in Miami." "You're fighting for your life every day while driving in Miami," stated another.

As of the closure of this note, there are no other details that shed light and clarify the uncertainties surrounding the shocking accident.
