Several Cuban artists have announced the suspension of events and releases after learning of El Taiger's severe health condition, who is in critical condition after being shot in Miami.

In solidarity, Wow Popy announced that he will postpone his album El Hijo de Elizabeth: “We find ourselves needing to postpone the release of my album... due to the delicate situation in which our friend and colleague, José Manuel Carvajal, finds himself,” he announced on Instagram.

"When my tiger opens his eyes, we'll talk about music, even if you don't see me, feel me because I'm right here next to you with many who love you and want you back," he added in his post.

Wampi, for its part, which had a performance scheduled at La Tropical this Friday the 4th, also canceled it.

"First of all, I want to apologize to all my fans and everyone who was going to be part of this event, to the La Tropical work team, and to all those who may feel affected by the cancellation of this event," he wrote on Instagram where he announced his and his team's decision to "suspend the event... due to everything that is happening with El Taiger."

El Yonki also announced that the release of his song "Voy 100 A Mí" would not take place on the scheduled date due to the situation of his colleague: "The launch is postponed... due to the situation that José (El Taiger) is facing," announced his manager and partner Ani Dieppa, known on digital platforms as La super friky.

El Chacal, who did not hesitate to ask him on social media to "recover, horse," also made the same decision and announced that he was postponing "Momentum" to next week.
