In the early hours of this Friday, Mayeta shared about the incident on her Facebook profile, explaining that the man was injured at the moment he was getting onto a passenger truck.

“At the moment the man was climbing the rear stairs of the truck, he was struck by the machine, which apparently came distracted because it did nothing to brake, although the driver commented that the brakes failed,” an anonymous source told the journalist.

The injured person was taken to the La Maya Polyclinic, with severe injuries from the waist down, so the prognosis for survival was uncertain.

Hours later, the communicator confirmed the death of this Cuban, who he added was known as “El Jabao,” although he did not provide more information about the victim.
