El Chulo joined in the last few hours the list of Cuban reggaeton artists who, despite having had problems in the past with El Taiger, have pledged for his recovery after he was shot this Thursday, leaving him in critical condition in Miami.

"In case you didn't know, silence is also a sign of support, respect, and empathy. José Manuel @el_taiger, wishing you a speedy recovery. I am a firm believer that God can perform miracles," wrote Abel Díaz Rodríguez, the artist's real name, on Instagram.

"What matters most right now is that you reach a stable state and that you live so that you can raise your daughters. I'm sorry that you are going through this delicate situation. Never forget that the inner strength you have is greater than any challenge you face," he added.

The publication has been celebrated by dozens of followers of both singers and has also received praise from other artists.

"How great, Chulete, that's why I love you with my life and respect you, brother!" wrote Yulien Oviedo.

"I admire you," wrote Eduardo Antonio; while Dani Ome concluded with, "Amen."

El Chulo thus joins other reggaeton artists like Chocolate and Ja Rulay who, despite having a history of disagreements with El Taiger, in some very recent cases, have put those conflicts on hold to call for the singer's recovery, who is fighting for his life in a Miami hospital after having been shot in the forehead under circumstances that are being investigated.

Despite the current support, the relationship between El Chulo and El Taiger has been marked by several episodes of public confrontations.

In June 2022, the feud between them intensified when El Chulo publicly criticized El Taiger for frequently visiting Cuba, something he could not do due to the lack of U.S. residency. The dispute escalated quickly, even involving family members and prompting threats of physical confrontations.

Another notable controversy between them occurred when El Chulo started a relationship with La China Lay, the ex-girlfriend of El Taiger. This provoked a public reaction from El Taiger, who, although he claimed he no longer cared about the relationship, made ironic comments that fueled the controversy.

However, in January of this year, the two reggaeton artists chose to put their differences aside through a series of videos in which they apologized to each other.

Despite the ups and downs in their relationship, El Chulo's recent gesture shows that in critical moments, empathy and respect can prevail over any past disagreements, as several reggaeton artists are hinting amid the critical situation that El Taiger is going through.
