Cubans gather in a prayer chain for El Taiger in Miami.

In the voices of many, the Our Father and the Hail Mary can be heard, the prayer of a young woman to the deceased mother of El Taiger asking to protect her son, and the prayer of Saint Louis Bertrand to heal all ills and ailments.

Dozens of Cubans gathered on the evening of this Friday for a prayer chain for the recovery of the reggaeton artist El Taiger.

Carrying white candles, they went to the place where the singer was found by the police last Thursday with a gunshot wound to the head.

In the images shared by journalist Daniel Benítez on his YouTube channel, people, especially young people, can be seen placing their candles in the street.

In the voices of many, the Our Father and the Hail Mary can be heard, the prayer of a young woman to the deceased mother of El Taiger to protect her son and the prayer of San Luis Beltrán to heal all evil and illness.

At other times, the music of the reggaeton artist can also be heard, the kind that their fans and followers want to keep listening to for a long time.

Due to the number of people continuing to arrive near the Jackson Memorial Hospital, the Miami police agreed to stop traffic flow.

From Cuba and through social media, several colleagues and fans of the singer joined in prayers wishing for a swift recovery for the artist.

The latest update from his work team indicates that El Taiger remains in critical condition.
