Grandmother and daughter of El Taiger attend mass in his name in Havana.

El Taiger's grandmother, who loves him like a son, joined the international prayer asking for the artist's health and quick recovery.

El Taiger's grandmother, who at over 90 years old has repeatedly declared that she loves him like a son, went this Tuesday to the Church of San Lázaro in Havana to pray for his recovery, while the singer continues to fight for his life at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.

The profile "La Familia Cubana" shared an emotional video on Instagram showing El Taiger's grandmother, the artist's daughter, and close friends of the singer, united in prayer, pleading for his recovery after he was shot in the head last Thursday.

Before entering the temple, a fervent admirer of El Taiger's work gave her grandmother an image of the singer along with a rosary, accompanied by an emotional message: "The photo doesn't talk, what talks is this," the woman said, tapping her chest over her heart, signaling the faith, affection, and prayers they have offered for the recovery of the prominent reggaeton artist.

"And you don't lose your faith, because no one here is going to lose it," pointed out the follower of El Taiger's music, who is one of the thousands of people who have prayed for the singer's recovery.

The grandmother, who has maintained a very special bond with her grandson after the death of her daughter, El Taiger's mother, entered the church preceded by a choir singing "Levántate la tranca," in honor of the artist, and also with the music of the reggaeton artist in the background.

Inside the temple, prayers and pleas resonated, asking for the swift recovery of El Taiger, with the hope that he can soon be back with his grandmother and daughter.

Another relative of the reggaeton artist, his cousin, also singer Jorge Junior, explained this Tuesday that he has not been able to travel to the United States to see his cousin, El Taiger, because he is waiting for a humanitarian visa that neither he nor his mother have received yet.

"I apologize to all of you today for not being here, for not showing my face. I haven't had the best day regarding my health. I've been dealing with high blood pressure at 200 and my head felt like it was going to explode. I'm still like this, but a little better now. Thank you very much for your messages and for your attentions. I love you all with my life," she wrote in her Instagram stories.

"From this side, since moment 0, I have moved heaven and earth to be by my cousin's side. I canceled everything and did all the necessary paperwork. Up until tonight, neither my mother nor I have any answers. This is the first time in history that a humanitarian visa is being processed directly from here, according to what they tell me, and it does not depend on this side," he added.

In a later live broadcast on the mentioned social network, the singer reiterated that he is not well health-wise, but nevertheless took the opportunity to clarify some points, including the handling of the humanitarian visa for the reggaeton artist's eldest daughter, which was made known this weekend by Telemundo 51.
