The renowned Cuban humorist Ulises Toirac expressed on Thursday that he is tired of the insults he has received on his Facebook profile, announcing changes to the configuration of his posts to limit comments.

"I have decided that only my 'friends' can comment on my posts. I am fed up with the 'güevinancia' of insults on my own profile," Toirac wrote on his Facebook account.

The comedian, known for his ironic and carefree style on social media, as well as for reflecting on social issues, explained that he tends to be respectful when commenting on other people's profiles.

"If I have opposing opinions, I keep them to myself because it's not my space. In mine, it didn't seem to be the same, so peace in my profile, heavenly harmony," she added.

In his message, Toirac also lamented that this decision affects "good vibes" people, but he pointed out that it's not worth "struggling on social media when the one in the streets is already set to destabilize the pressure apparatus," referring to the stress and tensions that are already present in everyday life.

Regarding social media, the comedian recently questioned the attitude of many Cubans towards recent events that have stirred public opinion, such as the attack suffered by the reggaeton artist El Taiger in Miami.
