Witnesses present at the fair reported that the thief, after seizing the bag containing money, a cell phone, and personal documents, tried to flee the scene quickly.

However, thanks to the victim's cries for help, the police guarding the fair acted quickly and managed to capture the wrongdoer.

The action allowed for the complete restitution of the goods stolen from the seller, and the thief was placed under police custody to face the corresponding charges.

Two weeks ago, the same profile reported that a thief pushed a 72-year-old man to steal his cell phone and was arrested by the police in Havana on Calle Primera, between 182 and 184, Alamar neighborhood, municipality of Habana del Este.

Days earlier, five people, four men and one woman, were arrested in Arroyo Naranjo, Havana, for violently stealing an electric motorcycle from a 72-year-old woman. The profile reported that the elderly woman - apparently very active despite her age - was with her motorcycle at the La Palma taxi stand when a young woman rented it heading towards the Eléctrico neighborhood, in the same municipality.

When they arrived at the agreed location, four men who were in league with the passenger confronted the driver and stole the vehicle.
