Messages of sorrow over the death of Cuban reggaeton artist José Manuel Carbajal, better known as El Taiger, continue to arrive days after his passing. The singer died on October 10, after a week fighting for his life following a gunshot to the head. In response to the sad news, Cuban and international artists have expressed their grief on social media. One of those who did not hesitate to dedicate a few words to the singer was producer Raphy Pina.
Natti Natasha's partner shared a video of El Taiger that was posted years ago and wrote: "God rest his soul and may he find the person responsible for his departure." With these words, Raphy Pina called for justice for El Taiger, who was shot in the head in Miami on October 3rd.
The video shared by Raphy Pina was one that El Taiger had posted two years ago, during a moment when he appeared in Natti Natasha's docureality. In the video, El Taiger recalled that it was precisely Raphy Pina who opened his Instagram account.
"Did you know that this gentleman was the one who opened my Instagram? He asked me, 'Do you have any social media?' and I replied that I had Facebook, to which he said, 'That's for 3-year-olds, give me your phone.' And he created this profile that you all follow. Today I see this and I say: the man builds, not destroys," shared then the interpreter of "La Historia."
An anecdote that Raphy Pina has now recalled by sharing that post of the deceased singer.
