Cuban actor Adrián Di Monte was crowned the winner of the first season of the Telemundo reality show "La Isla: Desafío Extremo."

The final took place on Monday, October 14, 2024, and the program was recorded in Turkey, where the 34-year-old Cuban, originally from Santa Clara and representing the team of Tiburones, faced in the final the Colombian Hubert “Wakanda” Riascos, from the team of Panteras, whom he defeated in an exciting match, winning the prize of 200 thousand dollars.

In third place in the competition was the actor Leopoldo "Guty" Carrera, while the fourth position went to Natalia Alcocer, both teammates of Adrián Di Monte on the Tiburones team.

During the last week of the competition, the participants received a special surprise with the visit of their family members and some of their former classmates, who joined them during the final moments of the reality show, filmed in various locations in Turkey.

Adrián Di Monte is no stranger to reality shows. In 2017, he participated in the fourth season of the Mexican show "Bailando por un sueño," where he achieved first place along with his dance partner Montserrat Yescas.

In addition to his prominent participation in reality shows, Adrián has been part of the cast of various telenovelas such as "Diseñando tu amor," "El maleficio," and "Señora Acero: La Coyote."
