A desperate Cuban mother turned to social media this Wednesday to seek help in locating her 20-year-old daughter who has gone missing in Havana.
In a Facebook post, Aliusky Navas Sardina expressed her distress: "I need help from everyone on Facebook and my friends. I want to make a report: my daughter is missing, and I need you to help me find her. Her name is Milena, she lives in Centro Habana, and she is 20 years old."
"I'm desperate; I want to know where she is," the mother expressed, visibly upset, and made an urgent appeal to anyone who might have information about her daughter's whereabouts, providing her grandfather's contact numbers for any updates: 52002145 and 78621597.
In the comments section, several people have reported seeing the young woman.
Michel Rodríguez Izaguirre stated that on Sunday he traveled from Havana to Camagüey "and she took that same bus. She was with a young man."
Likewise, Pedro Javier Castillo Torres mentioned that he saw her this Tuesday and "she is doing well."
Navas, the mother of the young woman reported missing, also stated: “She has her behavior; what is needed now is for her to appear safe and sound.”
Later, the distressed mother made another post identifying the person who allegedly took her daughter: "The last time he was seen was in Ciego de Ávila, he has no money, please help me, this is an SOS, she could be in danger, my daughter’s name is Milena, please help my girl for the love of God."
Along with her request, she shared an image of Yuniel Rafael Reyes Meriño, whom she claims is the man who was seen with her daughter.
