Total excitement! The moving moment when a Cuban woman discovers that she won her asylum in the U.S.

"My husband was keeping this news for me with this beautiful gift. Happy to await my residency with I220A asylum granted."

"Just saying, thank you God. For everything, for so much. For allowing me to reach this point that many people feel at some moment is the breaking point. We lose many things, we leave so much behind but everything is for the better. For a better future," wrote the Cuban content creator @clau_habana0 on TikTok while sharing her emotional and euphoric reaction upon receiving the news from her husband that she has won her asylum in the United States.

"My husband had this news kept for me with this beautiful gift. Happy to be waiting for my residency with I220A asylum won. Residency in 6 months. Thank you," she wrote about the video that captures Clau's reaction when she opens the door to her house and sees her husband with a white flower and a small U.S. flag.
