An accident involving three trucks occurred early Saturday morning at the entrance to the province of Camagüey, according to reports on social media.

"Thank God there are no fatalities, only injured; all four are no longer in life-threatening condition," wrote a user in the comments of a post in the Facebook group "Automobile Accidents in Cuba."

The impact between the two trucks appeared to be head-on due to the damage noticeable in both driver cabins in the photos.

Although the causes of this tragic event are not specified, several internet users commented that traffic was halted for several hours on the Central Highway.

"I passed by there at 5:00 a.m. It looked bad. I couldn't take pictures because it was too dark, and traffic was at a standstill. Now I returned, and there's nothing. Just remnants of ham wrappers and a lot of glass. By 10 in the morning, there was still nothing. Just a stripped utility pole," mentioned another user in the post shared in the Facebook group "ACCIDENTS BUSES & TRUCKS for more experience and fewer victims!"

An internet user reflected on how dangerous it is to travel on Cuban roads, which lack adequate lighting at night and have many potholes.

"You have to be careful on those bad roads. You can't always blame the potholes; we need to be cautious because all drivers know the condition of the roads, that's nothing new. The saddest part is that we always have someone waiting for us at home," this Cuban stated.

Last Wednesday, several people were injured when the Nissan truck they were traveling in crashed into an electricity pole in the Diez de Octubre municipality of Havana.

The accident occurred right at the intersection of Úrsula and Destrampes, in the Sevillano neighborhood.

Also, last Wednesday, a collision between a bus and a motorcycle claimed the life of a motorcyclist in Santa Cruz del Norte, Mayabeque province.

The deceased was identified as "Yunieski," a young man whom an internet user described as "a great guy from an excellent family."
