Working at Sam's Club in the United States: Latina shares her experience.

"I started working in the bakery without having any knowledge of what I had to do."

Yesenia Chávez, known on TikTok as @yeseniamtz99, has gone viral sharing her experience working at the Sam's Club bakery in Houston, Texas. In her video, Yesenia details her routine: packing products, organizing orders, and working from 12:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. With a fixed schedule of 40 hours a week and guaranteed days off (Wednesday and Sunday), Yesenia describes the job as "quite easy," although she notes that it requires speed to complete all tasks before closing.

Without prior experience in baking, Yesenia has learned on the job, including some cake decorating, which allows her to assist in various areas of the store. Her honesty and detailed explanations have sparked a wave of reactions on TikTok, where her followers continually ask her questions about working at Sam's in the U.S.

One of the most frequent questions was about the salary: “How much do you earn per week?” and “What about the pay, girl?” Yesenia replied that she has videos on her profile with that information. Other users asked how to apply, even without experience or documentation: “If you don’t have papers, will they hire you?” and “I want that job too; how do I apply?” She clarified that the requirements are also listed on her profile. They also inquired whether English is necessary, to which Yesenia responded that only “basic English” is required.

Some followers made comments about curious details in the video, such as the palm cross in her car: "I really liked the palm cross you have in your car." Others remarked on the physical effort it requires: "Wow, standing the entire time? I don't think that's easy." In summary, Yesenia has managed to capture the attention and curiosity of a community of followers interested in learning about work life in the United States, and her video has already garnered thousands of likes and hundreds of comments.
