A young worker from the Guiteras thermoelectric plant, who had been missing while fishing, was found deceased

Officials from the Ministry of the Interior (MININT) discovered the body of a young worker from the Antonio Guiteras thermoelectric power plant in Matanzas, who had been reported missing days earlier while fishing.

The lifeless body was found floating in the sea on Thursday, near a location known as Playa del Inder.

The Facebook user "Con Todos La Victoria," linked to the government, revealed that the victim was 24 years old and worked as a laborer at the thermoelectric plant.

"It had been reported as missing while carrying out fishing activities in the coastal area," he specified.

"On the afternoon of October 30, following intensive search efforts by various MININT specialties in the coastal area near the Antonio Guiteras Power Plant, it was found..." the note detailed.
