The accident occurred when, allegedly, the polaquito overturned after colliding head-on with the taxi in an area where "there is a stop sign for those coming from Agramonte," according to a witness, suggesting that a lack of visibility and signage may have been a determining factor.

"That Polish vehicle was in very bad shape, overturned and crumpled; it was chilling to see that," said a witness.

According to the testimony of another individual who was in the area, "the little Polaco was crushed like a stepped-on soda can," while the taxi, although also affected, showed significantly less damage in comparison.

"I passed by and saw the car… the Polish car looked much smaller than it is, it was strong, strong," recounted a third witness, adding that the consequences of the collision were so severe that the vehicle was unrecognizable.

The incident reportedly occurred in an unlit area, with traffic lights out and numerous potholes, raising concerns about the condition of the roads in the city.

"Dark Havana, the port avenue in complete darkness," noted another user on social media, criticizing the lack of maintenance and signage on one of the city's main roads.

Another comment stated that "darkness, potholes, and recently malfunctioning traffic lights" are increasing the risk of serious accidents in the area.

As of the publication of this note, no further details are known about the victims or the circumstances surrounding the brutal accident, which reportedly occurred between six and seven in the evening.
