The alleged murderer of Disney's Borrero, a well-known stylist and figure in the LGBTIQ community of Havana, remains at large as the National Revolutionary Police (PNR) of Cuba continues an active search operation.
The brutal murder, which took place between November 10 and 11 in the La Rosita neighborhood of San Miguel del Padrón, has left the community shocked and on high alert, demanding swift police action to apprehend the suspect.
According to Cubanet, Bertha Mariela Sablón Roque, the mother of a friend of the victim, described the crime as "brutal" and pointed out that the perpetrator is believed to be Borrero's partner, who fled the scene after the incident and has not been located since.
The aforementioned source confirmed to the media that "Disney," as he was known in the gay community, lived and worked in a small room where he attended to his clients.
The violent nature of his death and the escape of the alleged perpetrator have sparked outrage among the residents of the neighborhood, who mourn the loss of a beloved individual known for his talent in styling.
The local community, along with the victim's family and friends, is calling for justice, demanding that the alleged murderer be apprehended as soon as possible.
